Biography

Tricia Farley-Bouvier is an American state legislator serving in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. She represents the 2nd Berkshire District and assumed office on January 4, 2023. Her current term ends on January 1, 2025.

Born and raised in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, Farley-Bouvier earned a bachelor’s degree in special and elementary education from Salve Regina University in 1986 and a master’s degree in education from the University of Connecticut. Before her political career, she worked as the director of administration of the City of Pittsfield.

Farley-Bouvier served as a Pittsfield City Councilor from 2004 to 2008. She was elected in a special election to the Massachusetts House of Representatives in 2011 and has since won re-election multiple times.

In her role as a state legislator, she serves as Vice Chair of House Committee on Steering, Policy and Scheduling. She also sits on the Joint Committee on Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure, the Joint Committee on Tourism, Arts, and Cultural Development, and the Special Joint Committee on Redistricting. She has also been assigned to various other committees throughout her tenure.
