Michelle Badger is a dedicated public servant who has made significant contributions to her community and the state of Massachusetts. She is a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives, representing the 1st Plymouth District. Michelle assumed office on January 1, 2025, and her current term ends on January 6, 2027. In addition to her role in the House of Representatives, she has been a member of the Plymouth School Committee since 2011, showcasing her long-standing commitment to education and local governance.

Michelle’s educational background includes a high school diploma from Plymouth South High School, a bachelor’s degree from Sweet Briar College in 2006, and a graduate degree from Suffolk University in 2010. Her career experience spans higher education administration, where she has worked to improve the educational landscape for students and institutions alike.

In the 2024 general election, Michelle ran for the Massachusetts House of Representatives to represent the 1st Plymouth District. She emerged victorious, defeating her opponent Jesse Brown with 52.2% of the vote. Her win in the Democratic primary was equally impressive, as she secured 42.1% of the vote against three other candidates.

Throughout her tenure, Michelle has been an active legislator, sponsoring and co-sponsoring numerous bills aimed at improving the lives of her constituents.
