Biography

Joseph D. McKenna is a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives, representing the 18th Worcester District. He is affiliated with the Republican Party. A resident of Webster, Massachusetts, he was elected to the House of Representatives in 2014 in his first race for public office.

McKenna is a 2010 graduate of Bentley University’s Honor Program and a 2006 graduate of Shepherd Hill Regional High School in Dudley. Before his election, he served for three years as Chief of Staff to State Representative Peter Durant of Spencer.

During his tenure, he has been involved in various legislative activities. He has sponsored and co-sponsored several bills related to education, consumer protection, environment and natural resources, financial services, health care financing, and housing.
