Biography

Jenny Armini is an American politician and a member of the Democratic Party. She represents the 8th Essex District in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. She assumed office on January 18, 2023.

Armini was elected after winning a six-way Democratic primary in September 2022 and won the General Election uncontested. Her current term ends on January 1, 2025.

In terms of her education, Armini earned an associate degree in communications from Endicott College, a bachelor’s degree in American government and politics from the University of Virginia, and a master’s degree in public administration from Harvard University.

Before her political career, Armini worked as a speechwriter for Armini Communications, the director of marketing and public strategy for The MENTOR Network, and the director of communications for MassINC. She also co-founded ElectBlue.

She began her career as a senior legislative aide on Capitol Hill. Currently, she is serving as the Massachusetts state representative for the 8th Essex District, which encompasses Marblehead, Swampscott, and parts of Lynn.
