Biography

James Arciero, born on August 27, 1974, in Concord, Massachusetts, is an American politician and a member of the Democratic Party. He is currently serving in the Massachusetts House of Representatives, representing the 2nd Middlesex District.

Arciero graduated from Westford Academy and later received the Eagle Scout award in 1993. He pursued his higher education at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science in 1997. He also holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Suffolk University, which he obtained in 2001.

Arciero’s political career includes his tenure as a member of the University of Massachusetts Board of Trustees from 1996 to 1997. He has also been a member of the Westford Democratic Town Committee. He assumed office in the Massachusetts House of Representatives in 2009 and his current term ends on January 1, 2025. He successfully ran for re-election to represent the 2nd Middlesex District and won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
