Yvette Benarroch is a dedicated and accomplished member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing District 81. Born on June 5, 1970, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, she has a rich and diverse background that has shaped her into the leader she is today.

Yvette’s educational journey began at Isidro A. Sanchez High School. She went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico in 2000. Her thirst for knowledge didn’t stop there; she later obtained a Master’s degree from Southern New Hampshire University in 2020. Additionally, she received further education from the University of Florida in 2008.

Her career is marked by a strong commitment to public service and community involvement. Yvette served in the United States Air Force from 1990 to 1992, participating in Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Her military service earned her several honors, including the National Defense Service Medal, the Air Force Training Ribbon, and the Air Force Overseas Long Tour Ribbon.

After moving to Florida in 2003, Yvette became deeply involved in her community. She is a certified arborist and pest control operator, and she has worked as a business owner. Her affiliations include the American Legion, the Certified Pest Control Operators Association of Florida, the Florida Cattlemen’s Association, the Florida Federation of Republican Women, the Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association, and the Florida Stormwater Association. She is also a trainer for the Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences Green Industries Best Management Practices and a member of the International Society of Arboriculture.

Yvette’s dedication to her community extends to her involvement with various local organizations. She is a member of the Marco Island Area Association of Realtors, the Marco Island & Naples Chamber of Commerce, and the Naples Area Board of Realtors. She also volunteers at the Our Daily Bread Food Pantry and is an active member of the Republican Party of Florida and the Republican Jewish Coalition.

In 2024, Yvette was elected to the Florida House of Representatives, where she continues to serve her constituents with passion and dedication. Her legislative service is marked by her commitment to addressing the needs of her community and advocating for policies that promote growth and development.

Yvette’s personal interests include ballroom dancing and tennis, reflecting her vibrant and active lifestyle. She resides in Marco Island, Florida, and is proud of her Jewish faith, which guides her values and principles.
