William Gary Lamberth (born December 5, 1977) is an American politician. He serves as a Republican member of the Tennessee House of Representatives for the forty-fourth district, encompassing parts of Sumner County, Tennessee.

Biography:

  • Early Life: Born on December 5, 1977, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Lamberth is a fifth-generation resident of Sumner County, Tennessee. He grew up on a farm in Tennessee and attended Portland High School.
  • Education: Lamberth graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in 2001 and received a J.D. from the College of William and Mary School of Law in Williamsburg, Virginia, in 2004. During law school, he was elected President of the Student Bar Association.
  • Career: Lamberth worked as an Assistant District Attorney for Sumner County. Currently, he practices law as a private attorney in Gallatin, Tennessee.
  • Political Career: Elected as state representative for the forty-fourth district in 2012, Lamberth replaced Democratic representative Mike McDonald. He has held leadership positions in various organizations, including the Rotary Club of Gallatin, the Sumner County Bar Association, and the Republican Party of Sumner County.
