William Venroe Chappell (born February 3, 1922) was a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives from the state of Florida. He represented Florida’s 4th congressional district and served as a federal legislator for two decades, from January 3, 1969, to January 3, 1989. Over the course of his career in Congress, he completed ten terms in office.

Chappell’s tenure as a representative placed him among the historical members of Congress from Florida during the late 20th century. Serving continuously for twenty years, he participated in the legislative process as a member of the Democratic Party, representing the interests of his district at the national level. His service concluded in 1989, after which he is recorded as a former member of the House of Representatives.
