William Darby, also known as Will, is a member of the Democratic Party and currently serves in the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Hillsborough 11. He assumed office on December 7, 2022, and his current term is set to end on December 4, 2024.

Darby ran for election to the New Hampshire House of Representatives to represent Hillsborough 11 and won in the general election held on November 8, 2022. He lives in Nashua, New Hampshire.

In terms of education, Darby holds a B.S. in Computer Science/Computer Engineering from Clarkson University, which he earned in 1993. He also has an M.S. in Computer Science from Villanova University, which he received in 1997.

Professionally, Darby has a rich background in the tech industry. He has worked as a Software Engineer/Manager with Arista Networks, served as the Chief Information Strategist with Lee River Proprietary Strategies, and was the Principal Software/Systems Engineer with MITRE.

In the New Hampshire House of Representatives, Darby is a member of the Fish and Game and Marine Resources Committee and the Resources, Recreation and Development Committee. These committees are responsible for matters relating to natural resources, water pollution and control, parks and recreational areas, recreational industries, and state controls on property development.

Darby is an ardent outdoorsman who enjoys exploring New Hampshire’s forests and fishing whenever possible. He is married to Debra and they have six adult daughters.
