Biography

State Sen. Travis Holdman has been dedicated to serving Hoosiers since 2008 as a member of the Indiana Senate. He represents Senate District 19, covering Adams, Blackford, Jay, and Wells counties, as well as a portion of Allen County.

Holdman assumes the role of the Senate Majority Caucus Chair. Additionally, he serves as the chair of the Senate Committee on Tax and Fiscal Policy and is a member of the Senate Committee on Appropriations and the Senate Committee on Rules and Legislative Procedure.

Professionally, Holdman is an attorney at Holdman Consult/Holdman Law. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Southeast Missouri State University, a Master of Science from the University of St. Francis, and a Juris Doctor from Indiana University.

Residing in rural Markle with his wife, Becky, Holdman is the proud parent of two children and the loving grandparent of four grandchildren.
