Tony Micklus is an entrepreneur and lifelong Vermonter representing the Milton-Georgia (Chittenden-Franklin) district. Born in Coldwater, Michigan, Tony moved to South Burlington at just one year old, growing up in Vermont and graduating from South Burlington High School. He pursued his passion for technology at Champlain College, earning a degree in Electrical Engineering before embarking on a diverse and successful career as a business owner in information technology, real estate, and international distribution. His experience in these industries has given him a deep understanding of economic development, infrastructure, and the challenges facing both small businesses and working families. Beyond his professional achievements, Tony is engaged in civic life, serving as Chair of the Milton Planning Commission and a member of the Milton Economic Development Commission. His leadership in these roles reflects his commitment to responsible growth, business innovation, and community planning. A devoted husband of 30 years and a proud father of three sons, Tony enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, hiking, and gaming—both on PC and at the tabletop. Elected to the legislature in 2025, he brings his business acumen and community-driven approach to policymaking, working to support the people of Milton and Georgia while shaping Vermont’s future.
