Thomas Edmund Scroggy (born March 18, 1843) was a Republican politician who represented Ohio’s 6th Congressional District in the United States House of Representatives. Serving a single term in the early twentieth century, he was part of Ohio’s congressional delegation during a period of national economic and political transition.
Scroggy held the office of Representative from December 4, 1905, to March 3, 1907. During this time, he served as a member of the U.S. House in the 59th Congress, representing Ohio as a Republican. His tenure in Congress lasted one term, after which he left federal office. Historical records identify him as a former member of Congress and a historical representative of Ohio for the years 1905 to 1907.
