Thomas Jerald Huckaby (born July 19, 1941) is a former Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives from Louisiana. He represented Louisiana’s 5th Congressional District, serving eight consecutive terms in Congress. Huckaby first took office on January 4, 1977, and remained in the House until January 3, 1993.

During his tenure, Huckaby served as a representative for Louisiana at the federal level throughout the late 1970s and 1980s, a period marked by significant political and economic change in the United States. As a Democratic member of the House, he was part of his party’s delegation from Louisiana, contributing to legislative activity over the course of sixteen years in office. He left Congress in 1993 and is recognized as a historical member of Congress from Louisiana’s 5th District.
