Suzanne Salisbury is a member of the Democratic Party serving in the Maine House of Representatives for District 128. She assumed office on December 7, 2022, and her current term is set to end on December 4, 2024. Salisbury was successful in her re-election bid during the general election held on November 8, 2022.

In terms of her education, Salisbury earned an Associate of Arts in social work from the University of Maine at Augusta in 2002 and later completed a Bachelor of Arts in leadership from the University of Southern Maine in 2022. Her professional background includes being a business owner, specifically of The Daily Grind. She is also known for her community involvement, having founded Westbrook Families Feeding Families.

During her tenure, Salisbury has been assigned to key committees. For the 2023-2024 period, she serves as the Chair of the Ethics Committee and the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee. Previously, in the 2021-2022 period, she was a member of the Education and Cultural Affairs Committee.

Salisbury’s legislative focus includes combating food insecurity, addressing workforce shortages, and funding crises in Emergency Medical Services.
