Susan was born and raised in Salem, New Hampshire. She graduated from Salem High School in 1986. After high school, she embarked on a career in the automotive industry. Her experience in this field is diverse and includes roles such as an automotive technician, customer service, and management.

In addition to her professional career, Susan has been actively involved in local government. She represents District 25 of Rockingham County, specifically the town of Salem, New Hampshire.
