Susan A. Davis (born April 13, 1944) is a former American politician who represented California in the United States House of Representatives. A member of the Democratic Party, she served as the U.S. Representative for California’s 53rd Congressional District from January 3, 2001, to January 3, 2021. Over the course of her two-decade tenure, Davis completed 10 terms in Congress.

During her time in the House, Representative Davis served as a Democratic member from California, focusing her work through the institutional roles and responsibilities of a U.S. Representative. She was part of the historical membership of Congress for that period, representing the interests of the 53rd District at the federal level. After leaving office in 2021, she became a historical member of Congress, concluding a 20-year career in the U.S. House of Representatives.
