Biography

State Sen. Sue Glick is the dedicated representative for Indiana State Senate District 13, covering all of LaGrange, Noble, and Steuben counties, as well as the western third of DeKalb County.

First elected in 2010, Glick holds the position of chair on the Senate Committee on Natural Resources. Additionally, she serves as the ranking member of the Senate Committees on Agriculture and Corrections and Criminal Law. Glick is also an active member of the Senate Committee on Judiciary and the Senate Committee on Rules and Legislative Procedure. Her significant role extends to being the Assistant President Pro Tem of the Senate.

Aside from her legislative duties, Glick is an attorney in private practice. She has previously served as the LaGrange County Prosecuting Attorney and as counsel for the towns of Shipshewana and Topeka, as well as the LaGrange County Park Board. Glick is the president of the LaGrange County Corn School Committee and holds memberships in various organizations, including the Order of the Eastern Star, the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, the Indiana State and LaGrange County Historical Societies. She is also a former member of the LaGrange County Library Board.

Throughout her career, Glick has received several honors, including the Distinguished Public Service Award by the Indiana American Legion in 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2016. In 1974, she was awarded the Sagamore of the Wabash by Gov. Otis R. Bowen.

Glick, a graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington and the Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis, is a member of the American, Indiana State, and LaGrange County Bar associations. She resides in LaGrange and is an active member of the United Methodist Church.
