Biography

Born in Whitewater, Wisconsin on October 7, 1952, Steve L. Nass is an American Republican politician. He has a diverse background: a graduate of Whitewater High School, he earned his B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 1978 and later obtained an M.S. Ed. in School Business Management from the same institution in 1990. Before entering politics, Nass worked as a payroll benefits analyst and information analyst/negotiator. Notably, he served in the Wisconsin State Assembly for 24 years, from 1991 to 2015, before being elected to the Wisconsin Senate in 2014. Nass is also a retired member of the Wisconsin Air National Guard, with 33 years of service, including deployment to the Middle East during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm.
