Biography

Steve Gist is an American politician from Montana. He is a Republican member of the Montana House of Representatives for district 25. He assumed office on January 4, 2021, succeeding Jasmine Krotkov.

Steve Gist is a Montana native. He grew up in North Central Montana on a farm and ranch. In 1985, he moved to Great Falls to begin a career in the Health Care field. Steve has worked EMS as a first responder, in both ground and air ambulance. He later worked in Emergency Rooms as a Paramedic and then as a Registered Nurse.

His career experience includes working as a registered nurse and co-operating a wild land fire contracting business. He ran for re-election to the Montana House of Representatives to represent District 25 and won in the general election on November 8, 2022. His current term ends on January 6, 2025.
