Biography

Stetson Painter is an American politician who has served as a member of the Arkansas House of Representatives since January 9, 2023. He represents Arkansas’ 3rd House district. He was elected on November 8, 2022, in the 2022 Arkansas House of Representatives election against Libertarian opponent Steven Gene Parsons.

Painter obtained a Bachelor’s degree in criminology in 2013 and a Master’s degree in public administration in 2016 from Arkansas State University. He was also a Congressional staffer for Congressman Rick Crawford. He also served in the United States Army Reserve. He is a Born again Baptist.

In addition to his political career, Painter has also been involved in business. He currently owns and manages rental properties for Black Moon Properties, LLC.

His tenure in the Arkansas House of Representatives began in 2023 and his current term ends in 2025. He is a member of the Republican Party and his predecessor was Danny Watson.

Painter’s career experience includes working as a district director, military/veterans liaison, and agriculture liaison for Congressman Rick Crawford. His commitment to public service is evident in his educational background and his various roles in public administration.
