Shelley Funke Frommeyer, born on June 21, 1969, is an American politician from Kentucky. She is a member of the Republican Party and has represented District 24 in the Kentucky Senate since January 1, 2023.

Frommeyer is a certified financial planner and resides in Alexandria, Kentucky. She has had a diverse career, including founding FFR Wealth Team and serving as its CEO, working as a financial advisor with Waddell & Reed, and being an executive recruiter with Johnson ReSource Group/Professions, Inc.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Kentucky in 1991. Her commitment to her community is evident in her involvement with various organizations. She is a USO Volunteer and has been involved with St Mary Catholic Church and School as an Extraordinary Minister, Finance Committee member, Morning Mom, and Volleyball Coach.

Frommeyer is also a part of the Campbell Co Leadership Action Group and the NKY Chamber of Commerce, Executive Committee. She has been recognized for her contributions with the Women’s Initiative Spirit of Achievement Award and the Junior Achievement Slugger Award.

In her role as a senator, she has served on several committees including Economic Development, Tourism, & Labor; Enrollment; Appropriations & Revenue; Education; Health Services; and BR Sub. on Justice & Judiciary. She is also a member of several caucuses including the Northern Kentucky Caucus, Aerospace/Aviation Caucus, Kentucky History Caucus, Kentucky Rural Electric Cooperatives Caucus, Kentucky Sportsmen’s Caucus, Kentucky-Israel Caucus, and Pro-Life Caucus.
