Biography

Shelby Labs is an American politician and a member of the Republican party. She represents the 143rd district in Bucks County, Pennsylvania in the House of Representatives. She assumed office on January 5, 2021, succeeding Wendy Ullman.

Labs was born and raised in Plumsteadville, Pennsylvania, a place where her family has more than 200 years of history running small businesses and farms, volunteering, and serving the people of Central and Upper Bucks County. She graduated from Central Bucks High School West in 2005 and later received a BA in communications from Temple University in 2009.

In 2020, Labs was elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives representing the 143rd district, which is part of Bucks County. She defeated incumbent Democratic representative Wendy Ullman with 51.5% of the vote in the general election.

As of the 2023-2024 Legislative Session, Representative Labs has been appointed to serve on the following House Committees: Human Services Committee, Aging and Older Adult Services, Game and Fisheries, and Transportation.

She currently resides in Plumsteadville with her husband and daughter.
