Shane Stack serves as a Republican Representative for District 4 in the West Virginia state legislature.
Governor Patrick Morrisey appointed Stack, of Triadelphia, to the House of Delegates on July 7, 2026, to fill the vacancy created when Delegate Bill Flanigan resigned to join the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia. Stack took the oath of office on July 23, 2026, and represents District 4 in Ohio County. He is the owner, licensed auctioneer and certified appraiser for Frio Stack & Associates and the owner of Island Pawn & Gun. He previously served as town treasurer for West Liberty and, at West Liberty University, as director of alumni affairs, a program director for the WLU Research Corporation and a two-term student body president. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from West Liberty University.
