Biography

Elected in 2020, State Sen. Scott Baldwin serves Senate District 20, which encompasses portions of Hamilton County.

Bringing over 25 years of military and law enforcement experience to the Senate, Baldwin’s service began in the U.S. Marine Corps during Operation Desert Storm. Upon his return, he continued his service with the Indiana Department of Correction and later joined the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, where he earned two Medals of Bravery and a Medal of Valor.

In addition to his public service, Baldwin is a successful entrepreneur and business owner, having played a key role in the growth of several companies in the IT, real estate, construction, and security sectors. Currently, he is the owner and president of Envoy, Inc., a construction and real estate development firm.

Baldwin, along with his wife, resides in Noblesville with their three children.
