Biography

Sarah Stalker is an American politician who has served as a member of the Kentucky House of Representatives since January 1, 2023. She represents Kentucky’s 34th House district.

Sarah was born in Louisville, Kentucky, and raised in St. Matthews, one of the many neighborhoods that make up the new district 34. She deeply believes our state house should fully reflect the people of Kentucky and their needs.

She was elected on November 8, 2022, in the 2022 Kentucky House of Representatives election. She assumed office on January 1, 2023.

Sarah Stalker earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Stephens College. She graduated from Louisville Male High School.

Her career experience includes working as a consultant with On Purpose Consulting, LLC, the director of community engagement and membership of the Center for Nonprofit Excellence, and a radio show co-host with Crescent Hill Radio.

Stalker has served as a foster parent mentor with the University of Kentucky, the advisory board of Aetna SKY Governance, and an education committee member of the Coalition Supporting Youth Advocates.

She is running for re-election to the Kentucky House of Representatives to represent District 34. The Democratic primary for this office on May 21, 2024, was canceled.
