Sam Wargin Grimaldo serves as a Democratic Representative for District 92 in the Oklahoma state legislature.
Wargin Grimaldo took the oath of office on June 26, 2026, after winning the June 2026 Democratic primary for House District 92, which decided both the remainder of former Representative Forrest Bennett’s term and a new two-year term. Born and raised in south Oklahoma City, he is a criminal defense and immigration attorney. He previously taught in Oklahoma City Public Schools and worked as an education advocate with the GEAR UP program at the University of Central Oklahoma before earning his Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. He is a father and a member of the Oklahoma Legislative Latino Caucus.
