Sam McKenzie (born October 26, 1965) is an American politician serving as a member of the Tennessee House of Representatives. He assumed office on January 12, 2021.
Early Life and Education:
- McKenzie was born in Knoxville, Tennessee.
- He graduated from Austin-East High School.
- McKenzie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from Fisk University.
- He also holds a Master of Science in physics from the University of Memphis.

- Prior to entering politics, McKenzie worked as a scientist at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
- His responsibilities included managing maintenance on the Spallation Neutron Source.
