Representative Sam Satoru Kong joined the Hawaiʻi State Legislature in 2014 as the Representative for District 33 (Halawa, Aiea, and Waimalu). Representative Kong served in the United States Air Force as an electronic technician for ten years and a computer technician before owning Aiea Florist from 1992-2016. He currently serves as a committee member on the House Committees of Economic Development, Judiciary & Hawaiian Affairs, and Tourism.
