Biography

Ryan Lynch is a member of the Democratic Party and represents District 37 in the Montana State Senate. He assumed office on January 4, 2021, and his current term ends on January 6, 2025. Before this, he served in the Montana House of Representatives.

Lynch was born and lives in Butte, Montana. He graduated from Butte Central High School in 2000 and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Gonzaga University in 2004. His career experience includes working as the director of development and administration with Community, Counseling, & Correctional Services, Inc.

In the 2023-2024 legislative session, Lynch was assigned to the following committees: Energy and Telecommunications Committee (Vice Chair), Finance and Claims Committee, Senate Natural Resources Committee, and Senate Rules Committee.

Lynch ran for election to the Montana State Senate to represent District 37 and won in the general election on November 3, 2020.
