Russell High School and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in agricultural production operations from Montana State University-Bozeman in 1976. His educational background laid the foundation for a lifelong career in agriculture, a field he is deeply passionate about.

He has over 45 years of experience in the industry, including owning and operating his own agricultural consulting business. Additionally, he has held key roles such as fertilizer director and manager at the Wilbur-Ellis Company. Beyond his professional achievements, Miner has been an active member of his community.
