Later, he pursued higher education at Belhaven University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in history.

#Community Commitment A devoted family man, Ronnie is married to Andrea Crudup, and together they share three beautiful children. Their home is nestled in South Jackson, where Ronnie serves as the Executive Director of New Horizon Ministries, Inc. But his impact extends far beyond his immediate family. Ronnie actively participates in various boards and advisory councils within the city of Jackson, tirelessly advocating for the well-being of its residents.

#Affordable Homeownership Advocate For nearly a decade, Representative Crudup has championed affordable homeownership. His organization employs creative strategies to help families achieve their dream of owning a home and land. Many of these families would not have had this opportunity without his unwavering commitment.

#Community Projects Ronnie Crudup Jr. leaves no stone unturned when it comes to community development. Notably, he spearheaded the reopening of the Hertz Swimming Pool on Terry Rd through a private partnership. Additionally, he played a pivotal role in transforming Sykes Park on Cooper Rd in South Jackson, enhancing recreational spaces for local residents.
