Roman Cepeda Benavente is an independent member of the Northern Mariana Islands House of Representatives from District 1 on Saipan. He previously served in the House from 2013 to 2017 and returned to the chamber on January 9, 2023. He also served on the CNMI Board of Education from 2000 to 2002 and again from 2004 to 2008.
