Biography

Robby Mills, born on March 17, 1967, in Henderson, Kentucky, is an American politician who has been serving in the Kentucky Senate from the 4th district since 2019. He is a member of the Republican Party.

Education: Mills graduated from Henderson County High School in 1985. He then earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Oral Roberts University in 1989.

Career: Before his political career, Mills ran his family’s dry cleaning service and a business that assisted homeowners following disasters. His political career began when he served as a city commissioner in Henderson from 1998 to 2016.

In 2016, Mills was elected to the Kentucky House of Representatives from the 11th district, defeating incumbent David Watkins. He served in the House from 2017 to 2019. In 2018, Mills was elected to the Kentucky Senate from the 4th district.

In the 2023 Kentucky gubernatorial election, Mills ran for the position of Lieutenant Governor of Kentucky as Daniel Cameron’s running mate. However, they were unsuccessful in their campaign.

Current Position: As of now, Mills is a member of the Kentucky State Senate, representing District 4. His current term ends on January 1, 2027.
