Rob Geringer is a Republican member of the Wyoming House of Representatives, representing District 42. He assumed office on January 6, 2025, and his current term is set to end on January 4, 2027.
Rob Geringer grew up on a family farm in Wheatland, Wyoming, where he learned the values of hard work and community. He graduated from Wheatland High School in 1991 and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Wyoming in 1995. Later, he pursued a master’s degree in engineering from the University of Colorado, which he completed in 2000. His professional career began in engineering, where he worked on projects involving roads, water systems, and land development. Over time, he transitioned into entrepreneurship, co-founding businesses in home construction, real estate, and self-storage.
Rob’s dedication to public service is evident in his previous roles as the City Engineer for Cheyenne and the Public Works Director for Laramie County. These positions gave him a deep understanding of local government operations and the challenges of funding essential services. His commitment to his community extends beyond his professional life; he has been actively involved with the Cheyenne Housing Authority Board and other civic organizations.
Rob and his wife, Crystal, have been married for nearly three decades and are proud parents of three children. Their family values and experiences have shaped Rob’s approach to leadership and policy-making. He is passionate about preserving Wyoming’s heritage, supporting small businesses, and ensuring that future generations have opportunities to thrive in the state.
