Biography

Rick Ladd is serving his seventh term in the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Haverhill. He has an extensive background in education and public service, having been a school administrator and educator in both Alaska and Maine.

From 1980 to 2002, Rick was a school administrator in Alaska, where he was recognized as a National Distinguished Principal in 1998. He also has ten years of teaching and administrative experience in Maine, during which he published the Maine Studies Curriculum for DownEast Magazine. While serving as a principal in Maine, he acted as the Principals’ Association liaison with the Maine Education Committee.

Rick is actively involved in educational initiatives, serving on the Governor’s Save Our Summers Study Commission.

Rick is a dedicated member of his local community. He serves on the Town of Haverhill Selectboard and is an elected commissioner in the Precinct of Haverhill Corner. He has chaired the Haverhill Planning Board, where he is a current member. During his time in Alaska, he was elected three times as a city councilman in Homer.

Rick Ladd represents Benton, Haverhill, Landaff, Piermont, and Warren in New Hampshire.
