Randy D. Lemm is an American politician and farmer serving as a member of the North Dakota Senate from the 20th district. He was first elected in November 2018.

Education: Lemm earned a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science from North Dakota State University.

Career: Before entering politics, Lemm worked for the North Dakota Farm Bureau. He was elected to the North Dakota Senate in November 2018. Lemm has served as chair of the interim Senate Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee. He is also a member of the Veterinary Medical Education Program Admissions Committee.

Personal Life: Lemm is a resident of Hillsboro, North Dakota, U.S. He is married to Julie and they have three children and four grandchildren.

Affiliations: Lemm is affiliated with several organizations including the ND Stockmen’s Assn., NDFB, NRA, ND Hereford Assn., Hillsboro Kiwanis, Sons of American Legion. He is a Township officer, Deacon, Trustee at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, and a member of the Red River Human Services Foundation.

Senate Tenure: Lemm has been serving in the Senate since 2019. During his tenure, he has sponsored several bills and has been a part of various committees including the Interim Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee, Taxation Committee, Standing Agriculture and Veterans Affairs, and Education North Dakota Statutory Committee.
