Peter Lovett is a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Grafton 8. He assumed office on December 7, 2022, and his current term ends on December 4, 2024. Lovett is a member of the Democratic Party.

Lovett lives in Holderness, New Hampshire. He earned a degree from the University of New Hampshire in 1983 and Yale Divinity School in 1989. His career experience includes working as a Christian minister and pastor. Lovett volunteered with the Peace Corps in Togo, West Africa from 1983 to 1985.

Lovett ran for election to the New Hampshire House of Representatives to represent Grafton 8. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022. In the general election for New Hampshire House of Representatives Grafton 8, Lovett secured 20.7% of the votes.
