Biography

Pepper L. Ottman is a dedicated public servant and a member of the Wyoming House of Representatives. She has been serving her community since January 12, 2021, when she assumed office. Representing District 34, Ottman has been actively involved in legislative matters that impact her constituents.

Before her role as a legislator, Ottman held the position of Fremont County Republican Party chairwoman for four years. Her leadership within the party demonstrates her commitment to promoting conservative values and advocating for the interests of Wyoming residents.

On November 3, 2020, Ottman was elected to the Wyoming House of Representatives seat representing the 34th district, running unopposed. She was sworn in on January 4, 2021, and has since been actively participating in shaping state policies.

In December 2020, Ottman signed a letter urging Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon to engage the state in the Texas lawsuit, Texas v. Pennsylvania. The lawsuit sought to challenge Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 presidential election before the United States Supreme Court.
