Paul Cutler is a member of the Republican Party and represents District 18 in the Utah House of Representatives. He assumed office on January 1, 2023, and his current term ends on January 1, 2025. Cutler ran for election to the Utah House of Representatives to represent District 18 and won in the general election on November 8, 2022.

Cutler was born in London, England, and now resides in Utah. He earned a BSEE in electrical engineering from the University of Utah in 1997 and an MBA from Brigham Young University in 2003. His career experience includes working as an engineering director at Cisco and a wireless systems engineer at Ericsson.

In addition to his professional career, Cutler has served on the Centerville City Council and was also the mayor. He was also on the board of directors of the Utah Telecommunications Open Infrastructure Agency (UTOPIA).

During his tenure, Cutler has been assigned to several committees, including the House Economic Development and Workforce Services Committee, the House Education Committee, and the Political Subdivisions Committee.

Cutler is committed to protecting families and collaborating with other fiscally conservative leaders to keep Utah the best managed state in the country. He believes in fiscal conservatism, local control, collaborative decision making, and investing in education.
