She represents the 46th District, which includes parts of Albany County, Schenectady County, and Montgomery County. Before her tenure in the State Senate, Patricia Fahy had a distinguished career in public service and education. She served as a member of the New York State Assembly for the 109th District from 2013 to 2024. During her time in the Assembly, she was known for her advocacy on issues such as education, environmental conservation, and economic development. Patricia was instrumental in passing several landmark legislations, including the nation’s first Gun Industry Liability Law and the Right to Repair legislation.
