Biography

Rep. Parnell Terry is serving his first term in the Maine House of Representatives representing part of Gorham. He serves on the Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Committee as well as the Veterans and Legal Affairs Committee.

Terry grew up on a farm in rural Waldo County. He attended the University of Maine and has a bachelor’s degree in communications/broadcast production. Terry has worked as a fisherman, lobsterman and as a facilities maintenance technician. He is also co-chair of the Maine Irish Heritage Center and is vice president of the Irish American Club of Maine.

Terry is passionate about keeping Maine economically accessible for working families, protecting the environment and increasing green energy, ensuring access to high-quality education, supporting our veterans, and sustainable fisheries and wildlife harvesting.

He lives in Gorham with his wife and their three daughters.
