Biography

Olo Uluao Letuli is a member of the American Samoa Senate, representing District 11, which covers Fofo County. In June 2023 the traditional leaders and chiefs of Fofo County selected him, a high talking chief, to fill the seat left vacant when Senator Fai’ivae Iuli Godinet stepped down to become Western District Governor, and he took his seat when the Second Regular Session of the 38th Legislature convened in July 2023. He continues to represent Fofo in the 39th Legislature, where he has chaired the Senate Public Safety and Homeland Security Committee. Before entering the Senate, Letuli served in the United States Army for 30 years. Like all members of the American Samoa Senate, he serves without party affiliation.
