Newt Virgus Mills (born September 27, 1899) was a Democratic politician who represented Louisiana in the United States House of Representatives. Serving as a member of Congress for Louisiana’s 5th Congressional District, he held office during a critical period in the late 1930s and early 1940s, a time marked by the later years of the New Deal and the onset of World War II.
