Nate Blouin, born in 1989, is an American politician who represents Utah’s 13th Senate District in the Utah State Senate. He was born in Concord, New Hampshire and has made significant strides in his educational and professional journey.1
Education: Blouin’s educational journey began at Salt Lake Community College where he received his associate’s degree. He then moved on to the University of Utah to complete his bachelor’s degree. His thirst for knowledge didn’t stop there, as he further pursued a Master of Public Administration from the prestigious Brown University.
Career: Before stepping into the political arena, Blouin worked with clean energy groups and environmental organizations. His main focus was to promote renewable energy, a testament to his commitment towards creating a sustainable future.
Political Career: Blouin announced his candidacy for the Utah State Senate in 2022. His campaign was driven by his priorities which included clean air and affordable housing. His dedication and hard work paid off when he won the Democratic primary against Gene Davis with a significant majority. In the general election, he emerged victorious against Republican Roger L. Stout with a whopping 72% of the vote.
Blouin assumed office on January 1, 2023, succeeding Gene Davis. As a member of the Utah State Senate, he continues to advocate for renewable energy and works tirelessly towards his goal of a sustainable and inclusive future.
