Dianne “Ms Dee” Hart, born on June 26, 1955, in Tampa, Florida, is a dedicated public servant and businesswoman. She serves as the representative for District 63 in the Florida House of Representatives for the term 2022 - 2024 under Speaker Renner.
Ms. Hart is the CEO of the East Tampa Business and Civic Association and also owns her own business. Her career spans various roles and responsibilities, contributing to her diverse experience and understanding of both the public and private sectors.
She completed her High School Diploma from Buffalo Adult Day in 1971 and later pursued higher education at Springfield College, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services in 2017.
In her personal life, Ms. Hart is a proud mother to Michael Morrell, Michelle Morrell, and Jason Williams. She is also a doting grandmother to Jordan Morrell, Remi Bulmer, Devenz Thomas, and Jason Williams Jr.
Ms. Hart’s legislative service began when she was elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2018. Since then, she has been reelected and continues to serve her constituents diligently. Her committee assignments include the Water Quality, Supply & Treatment Subcommittee, where she serves as the Democratic Ranking Member, the Health & Human Services Committee, the Joint Legislative Auditing Committee, the Judiciary Committee, the Ways & Means Committee, and the Agriculture & Natural Resources Appropriations Subcommittee.
Ms. Hart’s commitment to her community, her extensive experience, and her dedication to public service make her an invaluable member of the Florida House of Representatives.
