Biography

R. Michael Young is a Republican member of the Indiana State Senate, representing District 35 since his appointment in December 2000. He succeeded Morris Mills. He was elected to the Indiana House of Representatives in 1986. In 1992, Young was redistricted and was reelected to the 92nd district.

Young earned his B.A. from Indiana University at Indianapolis in 1985. His professional experience includes working Management for Holiday Park Realty, as Managing Partner for Phoenix Development and Political Consultant for R.M. Young.
