Michael Don Brandenburg, born on October 1, 1956, is an American politician. He is a member of the Republican Party and has been serving in the North Dakota House of Representatives from the 28th District since 2004. He also served from 1997 to 2002.
Brandenburg was born and raised in Jamestown, North Dakota. He completed his high school education at Edgeley High School. After high school, he served in the North Dakota National Guard.
In addition to his political career, Brandenburg is also a farmer. He has been involved in various community and professional groups, including the Trump Ag Advisory Group, Nora Township Supervisor, Board of ND Chemical Harmonization, Board of Dakota Prairie Ag, Board of LaMoure County Farm Bureau, Farmers Union, Lions Club, and Zion Lutheran Church Council.
He is married to Lovice and they have six children and eighteen grandchildren. His current term in the House of Representatives ends on December 1, 2024.
