Mike Argabright is a Republican member of the Kansas State Senate, representing District 17. He assumed office on January 13, 2025, and his current term ends on January 8, 2029. Argabright ran for election to the Kansas State Senate to represent District 17 and won in the general election on November 5, 2024.

Born in Atwood, Kansas, Mike Argabright earned a bachelor’s degree from Wichita State University. His career experience includes working as an educator, coach, and school superintendent. Throughout his career, Argabright has been actively involved in various organizations, including the United Way of the Flint Hills, Emporia Chamber of Commerce, Wichita State University Sports Management Alumni Association, Ignite Emporia, Jones Institute for Educational Excellence, Flint Hills Special Education Cooperative, Newman Regional Health, and Emporia Zoo.
