Biography

MICHELLE BOS-LUN graduated from high school in Taipei, Taiwan. Her BA in sociology is from Beloit College,which included a year of intensive Chinese language study at Fudan University in Shanghai. She moved to Vermont in 2003 to attend the School for International Training, where she completed an MA in international education. She earned a certificate from VT Law School in Restorative Justice in 2023. Michelle has taught social studies and English, run youth programs, done case management with homeless teens & adults, and worked in restorative justice.Working with students and colleagues from Iraq,the U.S, Taiwan and beyond through state department exchanges, and with students and staff through the Governor’s Institute in Vermont are roles Michelle has enjoyed seasonally. She loves hiking,mushroom foraging, cooking, canning, leading travel programs to India and Nepal, & spending time with her granddaughter. She is co-director of a nonprofit, Bihar Educational Change Foundation (B.E. Change) that supports two schools in North India. She’s served on the board of directors for Health Care and Rehabilitation Services and as a board member & community educator with the National Alliance for Mental Illness, VT. She was Town Chair for the Westminster Democratic Committee from 2019-2023. Michelle is married to Ron, a teacher. They have twins who live in Westminster and an older son in Miami. She has been a member of the House of Representatives: 2021 - present.
