Michael J. Rodrigues, born on May 30, 1959, is a Democratic member of the Massachusetts Senate, where he represents the 1st Bristol and Plymouth district. He is a resident of Westport and has been serving in this role since January 2011. Prior to his tenure in the Senate, Rodrigues was a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives from the 8th Bristol district, a position he held from 1996 to 2011.
